2013 M5 Center console panel dead?
Hey everyone,
Has anyone's center console panel (radio, climate control panel) died on them? My battery died at a garage and they charged it. Since then the panel simply doesn't light up. All fuses were checked and they're all fine. Is this a common occurance? Should I unplug it then plug it back in? Any pointers would be great |

Was it jumped / "charged" from the terminals in the engine bay or direct through the battery?
Do you have warranty? If not... shoot me a message, might have a replacement for you. |

That’s kind of a lot of stuff so not really sounds like a fuse problem. Could be there is a fusable link going to the center console and that blew. The wiring diagrams online did not show any detail like that so your problem is something like that or a harness is damaged. You need to go to a bmw shop.

I believe it was charged from the terminals, not the battery directly. I'm going to take apart the center console and try plugging it back in, maybe that will solve it. Ill take it to BMW too, but I don't have a warranty
