Recommendations for electric pressure washer

I been looking at several electric pressure washers and would like some feedback from those of you who are using one. I know nothing about brands other than what I have read online in forums and Amazon.

There's been nothing in this forum for several years on the topic of sprayers.

I'd like to spend <$200 and have 2000-3000 pressure with close to 2 GPM. I'll be using a foam cannon.

The three units on my Amazon wish list are Carmer, Goplus, and a Sunjoe. any feedback from owners of these brands will be greatly appreciated. Amazon reviews are good to see, but I always appreciate the enthusiast's perspective.

Thank you!

any reason why you are going electric instead of gas? I got my gas unit for around mid $200 from costco and I do more than car wash with the pressure washer though, such as cleaning my driveway/deck

Noise and fumes. And my use will be 95% car, so it'll be an easier route with electric based on what I've read.

I haven't seen electric go up to 3000 psi but if you are just going to use pressure washer to wash cars then check out Sun Joe SPX3000. $149 from Amazon currently

Just from my experience, I would recommend getting the gas one. I bought the electric one that was at Costco, I believe it was Yamaha and it wasn't that good. I returned it and got the gas one (also Yamaha). Its very nice and the pressure is awesome. I use a chemical guys foam canon with it. I also use it for cleaning the driveway and sides of the house.

That's the one I have saved in my wish list along with the MTM Hydro original cannon.

Just not sure I want the hassle of a gas unit. I think I'll try electric and see how it goes. there are soooooo many choices and opinions. Almost as bad as asking which exhaust sounds best :

I picked up a Greenworks 1600psi unit from Lowe's for under $100 and it works just fine. Both first and second generation MTM cannon's work great and I'm able to spray my driveway and back porch. Now, the driveway is probably 20x30 (townhome) but it gets the job done

If you have facebook.. join the Obsessed Garage forum. Because of them, I purchased the Sun Joe SPX4001 2030 PSI 1.76GPM. I then detached it from its base and wall mounted it. Purchased a 100ft hose and a wall reel and plumbed the water directly into the pressure washer. The attached pic is before I plumbed the water in from the pipe below.

With that said., this washer is fantastic for an electric. The price is dirt cheap at $150. Buy from Amazon.. you will not be disappointed.. IMO.. gas isn't the way to go if you want something for your car. It makes no sound once you let go of the trigger.

Thank you! Great setup.

I wound up buying the SPX3000 from Home Depot on sale for $100! It was $140 on Amazon. Looks like mostly the same spec as yours. Bought a Chemical Guys foam cannon as well so I'm anxious to get it together.

Which hose did you buy? I think I'm going to want more than the 25' that comes with the unit.

Good luck with it all. Make sure you post some snow foam shots

Electric is the only way to go. Having the gas one blaring in the driveway the whole time is a nuisance.
