Sort of newbie from the UK!
Hi all, been a member on here for a while but never really posted, I should be in a position in the next month or 2 to buy an F10 M5, a little excited to say the least! I've just sold my C63 and wanted something a little bigger but still practical but still just as fast / fun - nothing else fits the bill!
I've been looking through the trader and ebay etc and sort of know the spec I want (Monte Carlo Blue or Sing Grey with the Silverstone leather) but wanted to know are there any 'must have' options that should be ticked? My budget is around the 30k mark so dont think I will only be able to get a 2012 / 2013 model. With the stereo which one is the premium stereo in these, I have seen some with B&O but think these were later ones. In the spec sheet is Loudspeaker System the usual boggo one? Cheers |

Sound system as far as I know for UK spec:
1) Standard loudspeaker 2) Harmon Kardon loudspeaker (BMW professional) 3) Bang and Olufsen All the best with your search

If you want a 12V in the center arm rest then you need the package. Not sure I would use the one in the boot but its there and you get one under the glove box. may be useful.
The smokers package adds a 12V in the popup cup holder, not sure if you get this with out it. so if you have neither the only 5V supply you have is the single USB in the center arm rest. I like to charge my iPhone 6plus which is much better if a 2A supply rather than the .5 you get from the USB socket. |

Ah ok cheers, tbh that wouldn't really bother me!
From what year was the later spec steering wheel fitted? The earlier ones looks sooo dated compared to the rest of the interior (also a retrim is possible I suppose....) |

Later steering wheels were introduced at LCI, so August 2013 onwards (63 plate)
Be aware though that some "old" stock may be on a 63 plate - if you only have external pictures, on pre-LCI cars the front indicators were "spotty", on the LCI they are clear. |

Thanks all, reverse camera a must yes, how beneficial is the surround view thought? My daily used to be a Lexus GS and fine with larger cars so not sure if this is needed....
Off to Singapore next week for the F1 (well, work!) so will be on the hunt for one when I return! |
