New M3/M4 Bulb upgrades!

Haven't found any threads yet about upgrading the new M3/M4 Xenon bulbs.

Does anyone have the exact size needed and a recommendation on a brand / model that will go great on the F80?

The XenoFlo HID Xenon Bulb looks interesting - specifically the middle pure white option.

Ended up going with the LED package after hearing so many negative reviews about the brightness / quality of the cheaper Xenons. Apparently its primarily for owners on a budget who don't plan on changing the bulbs - thanks for all the messages.

The Osram CBI are one of the few bulbs that actually puts out more lumens than normal bulbs - they are standard on Porsches, I bought a set only to find my 981 Boxster S already had them! doh!

But, the Philips C1 Xtreme Vision are a competitor. Nothing else on the market is actually brighter. I don't know what size bulbs the M3 are.

I haven't seen the HIDs on the F80/F82 - My car has the LEDs. But, my Boxster with the Osram CBI bulbs, puts out as much light with a more even beam pattern. Maybe the F80 HIDs suck (although I don't remember my F30's lights being any worse than my F80)

Once you check the clip on YouTube how does the LED work, you will find it is so cheap to click on this option

I think the hid headlights are pretty underwhelming. I never felt that way about the HIDs in my e82. Maybe it's because there are more cars on the road now with led lights that mine seem dull to me. I'm intrigued at the thought of being able to upgrade the bulbs for a "whiter" light. I have aftermarket 7" round LED headlights I'm my Miata, and while the beam pattern isn't great, they seem brighter than the M4 HIDs.

Would you mind sharing what LED bulbs you decided to install on your M3/M4?

Thanks in advance.

Any updates or recommendations on the best (brightest lumen output) on XENON HID replacement bulbs for the BMW F80?
