Looking for white actual front reflectors to replace orange

I would like to replace the orange front fender reflectors with white reflectors, not merely orange ones that have been painted over. My car is mineral white and I think that would look cool, as well as retain functionality. Anyone have knowledge of such parts?

I would try this first or something like it. Cut to fit the reflector. If you like it great. If not pull it off.

I think he means clear ones so it retains it's reflective feature.

That used to be easier when the Euro version had clear and people just bought the Euro version. Now the Euro doesn't have any at all.

Word around the forum is that MW don't really match at all. It's hit or miss.

Yes but it's not really enforced around here.

What's ironic is that they cost an extra $15 from IND

Metallic and Pearl are difficult to match unless you paint the bumper, then blend the fenders, all together with the reflector at once in the same paint booth.

The way the metal flakes and pearl settle is based on air pressure, baking temp, and spray angle (paint brand and flake size also factor in). Different angle reflect light differently.

In short, either leave the reflectors alone, go clear, or different colors. They will never match 100% if your have pearl and/or metallic paint.

I painted cars 14yrs ago when I was in High School.

Well said. I must add that we have not experienced issues painting most metallic paints. Three stage pearl paint colors are a completely different beast. If we do not have the vehicle in-house, then we will not be able to get it 100%. In fact, most cars do not match panel to panel. This latter statement reflects why some Bimmerpost members have a spot-on match and others do not.
