Dual Oil Cooler Adapter Block (N54 only)
Hey everyone, I bought this off ebay with the intent to use it to add a second oil cooler to my N55. It turns out BMW changed the routing of the pressure line of the A/C system for the N55 which causes an interference with this block once installed. The N54 should not have any issue with this though. The block is designed to bolt inline with your existing OEM oil cooler lines as they connect to the oil filter housing. It also includes the required bolt to make the connection and 4 new o-rings for the OEM ports. The outputs to the second oil cooler are -10 AN fittings and put the second oil cooler in series with the OEM one. All that would be needed to complete the kit is a new cooler core (Setrab or similar) and the required -10 AN lines and fittings. Just looking to get what I put in to it. Let me know if you have any questions. btw, you do need to have the OEM oil cooler in order to use this.
