Coded IHKA Air conditioning setting and now, I cannot turn off the fan
I tried to code:
Air Conditioning will remember if ‘Off’ or ‘On’ from previous shutdown. The coding went through fine, but now, the fan stays at the lowest setting and I cannot turn it off. Any ideas? |

So, it fixed itself after a while. This is one of those weird ones that I would not mess with. I also read that someone else on the F10 boards had the same issue but it fixed itself.

I was so fortunate to have an awesome local member help me try and code this and I just about had a panic attack when it didn't work and the AC would remain ON even when the car was off. Fortunately the guy is a genius and was able to restore it to factory settings but for about 15-20 minutes I wanted to kill myself

I just tried coding my IHKA and seeing the same behavior. I can no longer turn off my blower, it goes to the lowest setting and nothing else.
How long did it take for it to start working for everyone else? |

AC needs to remain on after coding under 1500RPM to complete initialization, then the light will turn off. This typically takes about ~1min, but can be slightly longer.

Thanks Tom! Exactly as you said it's 100% functional again. The AC light blinked for a little bit, then everything started working again. Good to know for everyone else that gets scared by this

Thanks for the explanation, I always wondered why the A/C button blinked and it acts funky after you code it.

Same issue. Recoded AC memory off. AC blower was at lowest setting and wouldn't turn off, AC light blinking. Went for a drive all went back to normal.

I hope you're right, because my blower won't turn off...
But I don't get a blinking AC light??? Will it fix itself? Also, if I want to restore that specific CAFD file to factory settings, can I just right click and hit code? |

Hi guys, I resume the post because i'm having the same issue. I retired the car back from the dealer for the LCI taillights update and today (after 2 weeks from the operation) i just figured that AC is not working (LED on but not emitting col air from the grilles). I usually drive with AC off if not necessary.
So I proceeded to code IHKA3 ECU (i have single zone AC panel), but after the process I have not seen the AC led blinking, and the blower can't be turned off. I drove for a while (~5 minutes) but nothing changed. Anyone experienced this? I'm really worried because unfortunately here in Italy the climate is getting too warm |

Jupp, all good again. Had to press A/C button and wait until it stopped blinking. Now can turn off blowers again and also no A/C after pressing Auto button 👍🏼

There is a calibration time after coding climate control. The ac light will flash repeatedly for few mins before you can change anything. It's expected behavior

After I drove for 30+ mins or so, it automatically started working normally on its own. Other forum posts mentioned that it needs to program/calibrate again so takes some time. |
