Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. Mark or whoever took those photos you are basically a pro. I don't know how you were able to get such sharp photos from one moving car to the other. They are really just amazing top notch quality. They look absolutely fantastic, some of the best E90 photos period. Thanks for sharing buddy.
Give us some photography tips!

MarkE90M3, BMW NA called, they would like their pictures back.
You guys are too much!!! I want to drive out to NYC just to get pictures taken. What camera did you use? How were you able to get such sharp detailed pictures of such fast moving objects? Fine technical details, please! |

I'm puzzled. The ones I checked were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel, and with quite slow shutter speeds. As slow as 1/4 second, up to 1/25. I have seen ISO 100 and 150.
I'm guessing this is the result of taking a very large number of shots and choosing the lucky ones. Nice job!

Hey thanks for the compliments everyone, but jwocky is the man who took all the pics, I only took some of the stills. And JFK, you are right, we took the pics with a slow shutter speed so that we could get a bit of blur with the trees without running the cars up to a faster speed, but maybee in the future we will just take the pics with the cars moving faster and faster shutter speeds to that there is a better chance of the car itself being in focus.. like you said, there were ALOT of bad pics, and these are the lucky ones
thanks again for the compliments everyone, we will be bringing our cameras to the summer BBQ meet, im kinda hoping we can get an e90 caravan shot on the highway, that would be sweet ! |
