BMW Labs
I stumbled upon this: https://labs.bmw.com/ while trying to find if there are any public APIs available for BMW. A particular interesting one is IFTTT integration and BMW specific applets.
Has anyone tried it yet? I am still exploring but I am pretty sure there would be some interesting hidden gems here. It's just odd that the support for IFTTT reads "BMW vehicles built between 07-2013 and 10-2015". Last edited by BatMeoW; 03-31-2019 at 12:02 AM.. Reason: updated comments |

that's a bummer! Would have been nice if there was a way to extend the functionality. I also figured out that BMW has now secured their API access by using a certificate which means that 3rd-party apps cannot extend or provide any functionality. I assume, this is to make the subscription model work exclusively with BMW Connected app.
