Alternatives to BMW screenwash?

My new 330e has just reached the end of the delivery screenwash.

I have never bought the BMW one, as I feel its a rip off, but my last 3 series suffered a blocked filter requiring a new tank at £250 after 3 years, so I'm a bit more wary now.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cheaper alternatives?

is it not all the same?! Surely if the filter was blocked it's because there was debris in it somewhere? Supermarket special for me.

Fairy Liquid for me and the wife doesn’t even twig I’m Skimming her bottle.

Obviously the above was very much tongue in cheek..... I use the 2 for the price of 1 “No Frills” washing up liquid from the shop around the corner.

Have owned BMW’s for over 15 years and on this website alone blocked screen washer systems are not rare and it is expensive to put right, so have always used BMW screen wash.
Also, I always dilute with de-ionised water from Halfords, the ratio depending on summer or winter.

jesus - put any of them.

the only thing is that buildup can appear if two different somehow are mixed resulting blockage (but should not be any anyway) so if you want to avoid that - just wash system with water before filling it up (and fill when it is empty).

but seriously - buying "BMW specific" is just waste of money - they all are made more or less the same.
