Rear Reflectors
Front's are painted and installed.
I ordered replacement rear reflectors, and dropped them off to be painted today. It looks like the wiring harness actually plugs into the rear of the reflectors, and the bulb is built into it. Once I get the painted rears installed, I'll plug the harness into them, but I'm worried the light will show through the paint (my car's Silver Gray). If I leave the harness unplugged, that will solve that problem; but then I'll get a "lamp out" warning on my dashboard. What other options do I have? Can I leave the harness attached to the original reflectors, and just zip-tie them to the bumper mount, up and out of the way? How difficult is removing the rear bumper?

Mine are unplugged. No warning light on the instrument cluster.

So I finally got around to picking up the painted rears from the shop. Going to get those installed this weekend.
Do I need to remove the rear bumper, if so, how involved is this?

Got the painted rear reflectors installed today!
Car looks so much better now that it doesn't have the giant orange and red circles. What did you guys do with the disconnected wiring harness? I tucked it up and out of the way, but I'm worried about water getting into the exposed contacts and damaging something. I'm thinking of electrical taping them to keep them protected.
