Anyone else with stop sale?

Ours has had a stop sale for over two weeks now. Its been stuck in the "ready for transport" stage.

Anyone take delivery in the past 2 weeks?

Supposedly it has to do with the internal microphone based on the bulletin my SA read.

thanks

Try running your VIN here: https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/

This may give some context for your stop-sale.

Yes that was the issue. Parts are now available and either installed at port or at your dealer before taking delivery I was told.

Thanks

When taking delivery of my M240i xDrive yesterday (so happy), I was shown by the staff on the contract of sale how openly BMW have deleted some features of the car to make it available.

As an example, the lumber passenger support has been deleted and price reduced by $240 accordingly. I'm sure this type of behaviour is explained in other threads, however it's going to be the new norm as car companies try and keep their manufacturing ticking over without delays. The dealer also said that it is going to get to the stage where the "head up displays" will be effected. There will be future M240i cars that will not be built with a head up given the shortage on these parts. All across the models will be effected.

If you can have a car now with as many features as possible, it may be worth great values later on compared to those without.

that sucks for others, but i'm glad to hear about value. the only deletion I got was the passenger lumbar delete. But I think that delete was in effect since day 1. Can anyone confirm this?
