Sedona Red /18" 261 Mstyle wheels

Sedona Red - 18" 261M wheels - Black Shadowline

I'm liking these 261M's...a little fussy, a little dematerialized, but they are growing on me.

You are not helping with my Sedona Red problem!

The wait until 2008 is going to kill me.

Thanks Brookside. Those wheels actually look much better than how I had pictured them in my mind. I actually canceled the M pack on my 135 order and ordered all the other M bits separately to avoid these wheels, but now I will have to reconsider.

Does anyone know the weight difference between these and the standard 18" non M wheels, if there is one?

Yeah- they look much better in the coupe photo than in the brochure!
Max...would your dealer be able to get an answer...on the weight-I'm curious also. Has your dealer told you when you can expect delivery?

They look better than I thought they would look but I think I would stay with the 264s.

No doubt-264's are the best looking on the car but everyone is going to have them.
261M's are the most special and at premium price (I'm guessing $1000-1500) they'll be the rarest stock choice.
263's are waaaaaay overdone- quasi "pimp my 1-er" kinda thing.
Bottomline- if I've got the loot, I'll go 261M's.

Not bad, I think the exterior color plays a part. I think so colors look better with the chrome.

I believe Havana Grey has a little brown in it based on playing with the 1er configuration tool on the BMW UK site.

With a little more aggresive offset in the rear and weight under 20lbs, and I'm sold.

Nope, not the same wheel, tho they look a lot alike. Lug nuts in the center of the narrow spokes on the blue one...here they are placed to the side.
261M's are visually better done, a more balanced design.

yeah the blues will need chrome.. and despite how much i like the montego blue (the darker one?) it wont look good with shadowline trim and gunmetal wheels (which are an inevitability for me). which is ok because its almost the exact same color as my impreza, itll be time for a change

those 261s are growing on me quite a bit though, really, just as sporty but with an extra hint of class/style than the standard 135 5-spokes

I think this is a color chart from the 1-er hatch in Germany. I forget what the context was when Bryan posted it...long before the German and Brit
dealer sheets on the coupe. Nevertheless you can see LeMans Blue is a medium saturated blue compared to Montego which seems to have a lot of metallic in the mix.

Since I wanted AW, he said mid to end of December. Other colors if ordered now, will be available the same time dealers get their initial stock, which will be in November. I'm seriously contemplating another color now as I will definitely be back in the states in December and I'm not sure I want to wait till January to take delivery.

The blue, which I think is Montego, but whatever it is, looks really good, much better than the e9x with that color, may be an option now. The gf is supposed to be coming to visit in November and we're talking about changing dates so she could do the whole bmw-welt thing with me while she's here. She loves the blue, but that may have a whole lot to do with the fact it would be available while she was actually here....

Man Smart/Woman Smarter- the blue is LeMans Blue not Montego- and only offered in Germany on the coupe with the 337 M Sportpackett which includes the 261M's.
This is a color chart that Bryan @ Mwerks posted- you can see the difference in LeMans/Montego in spite of the low res.
Also- awesome pic of LeMans Blue on a 3-er.

Touché . Whichever blue it is, it is pretty sweet. I'm stuck on AW, but man oh man those pics really make me go hmmmm.... I'm really anxious to see the crystal as well.

What the heck is that Havanna Grey. Darker then the Sparkeling Graphite. Kind of like the old Steel Grey. Any pics of that on a car. I like!!

These are the 208M (now the previous 18" M-wheel, cause I cannot find them in the pricelist).
