BMW Canada lowering lease and finance rates.
Still agonizing over my decision for the 1er and looking at bwm.ca it looks like they have dropped lease and finance rates by 1% acrosss the board.
I dont remember all the rates but the 335i Coupe is at 2.9% and 3.9% for finance and lease. I am sure this is 1 point lower than the last time I looked. This makes the payments for a basic 335i coupe $1028/mo acording to the site vs my 135i at $1062.52/mo. There is no way I can go through with this purchase. |

Yup.. just imagine.. especially if they are going to ship limited numbers over making the 1er more rare and maybe even limited then why would they change up rates.. maybe if the tides turn and they decide to mass produce this car but as of now I dont think the rates will change for a while..

Even M cars have a finance rate no higher than 3.9%. And the 335i coupe can be had for just 2.9%. As well, the Bank of Canada just lowered its rate by 0.5% with more rate cuts to come they say. In this climate, 6.75% from BMW is unacceptable, although they will likely still get that because of the initial high demand for the 135i.
I may just wait until BMW lowers the rate down the road, when the car is not in such high demand (2009 model year?). I will have to think about this. |

If you're able to get this kind of deal on the 1 please help us all out and let us know who and where! Are you a repeat buyer from this guy and dealership? I see a possible east coast group buy! hahahah

Hi Linus, would you mine telling me which dealer you lease it from? I just asked my SA at Autohaus and the best they can do is like 1k off a 335i coupe. I told them to f**k off and walked out. I was just so pissed after the rediculous lease rate for the 1er and now this. I couldn't stand it. |

I feel your frustration, but please remember the SA doesn't set the rates. Always try to have a good working relationship with your SA, if you don't like him go to another guy. With that said, I'm sure you can get a better rate than that. I've heard that T+C are usually pretty good with deals..... Oh, just in case you don't know already, to get the best deals go towards the end of the month. |

That is really insulting...go back towards the end of the month, if you still want to buy from her. I'm sure you know how to negotiate and you can actually turn this into an advantage for you, use her low ball offer against her. Also try not to take things personal, it's business. That also mean compliments as well as low ball offers. What you want to get is a number both you and the SA feel is fair. Don't forget most SA only make 1-2% of the cars price. Now I'm not siding with the SA,I hope you get a good price! |
