Milltek Exhaust not available

Got this email from Milltek today. It's a real shame, because Milltek is one of the better exhaust out there.

Hello Wayne

Many thanks for the email and sorry for the delayed response.

Unfortunately, we are informed by our dealers that the performance exhaust demand for this vehicle is limited and therefore have no current plans to manufacture a system for this application. Nevertheless, we are constantly developing new and exciting exhaust products for many applications. If we see a genuine demand for this vehicle, we will definitely investigate a development program.

I hope that helps!

Regards

Way, I'm not too surprised. With the limited numbers of 1er coupes (and specifically 135i's) being produced globally, I doubt there will be too much ROI for parts that won't be shared with other models, like the 335i common/similar parts.

I don't know Larry, after all they make exhausts for the RS4 if I'm not mistaken, which is a lot rarer than the 135i.
