Still too vague... age, tickets, accidents, etc.

Insurance on this car could range anywhere from $80 to $700 a month depending on the driver.

$1658/year in Calgary, 24 years old (continuously insured for 7 years, in AB technically its how long you've been insured for, not your age that matters), clean driver's abstract. $2 million liability, $750 deductibles.

Which insurance company are you with? I'm 24 and I'm paying $3900 a year to insure my CX-7. (I've been continuously insured since 16).

I'm with td meloche monnex. Check around for discounts, either through your employer or for alumni of any educational institutions ( u of c, u of a) you are associated with, or with whoever you have your home insured with.

I get a big discount with meloche monnex as u of c alum.

Wow, $255 registration and $274 for a driver's license? Is that yearly or every 5 years?

Yearly for both
274 is an extreme case. It works with how many points you lost. In my case none so 58$ a year but 15 points=274$.Put it this way my bike=almost 700$ a year to put the plates on.

QC and SK both ding you on your driving record even when you do your license and registration.

Still, $58 a year without points is a lot for driver's license. We only do ours every 5 years and it costs $80. Now, everytime we renew our car insurance they will ding you for your points accrued because of driving infractions and you have to pay that before you can buy insurance. I think registration is $50 to $100 per year.

I don't know about 94 as I don't think there are many stations with anything about 92. 92 is $1.46 if I do my calculations right as it is usually $0.11 greater than regular and regular has been around $1.34 to $1.29 lately.
