Spacers stuck...Yes I searched.

I'm trying to get my 10mm H&R spacers off the rear so i can put on my new set of 20mm, but I cant get them off. I was dumb and didnt prep the hub. I have tried to use a screwdriver and mallet and soaked them with wd40, but I am not getting anywhere. I'm about to take it to a shop to see what they can do, but wanted to check if there are any final suggestions.

hammer w/ thin yet strong flathead is what I used. They were stuck on like a bitch!!!

you just have to keep rotating the hub and going at it, work it out just a little at a time.

Heat it with a torch, then give it a good whack.

+1, thats what i did too to get mine off, it depends on where you live, its the rust that is making it stuck on the hub, so the wetter the climate, the more likely it'll get stuck...

I had the same problem before. I used some pliers and it worked. If the hub is rusted, try using some PB blaster, it works great to remove rusted/corroded bolts.

Make sure not to get any on your wheels or painted surfaces.

When you get them off if you are planning in selling the 10mm ones I might be interested.

I had the same problem, it was actually easy to fix! it took two people, and two flathead screwdrivers-one opposite sides of the spacer, then start hammering them in, rotating hits between both screwdrivers

I'm in California, and I dont remember the hubs being rusted. Granted I didnt clean them, but mostly what stuck out in my mind was that the spacers were a tight fit going on. I should have immediately known that this was going to happen. I tried using a flat head screwdriver, are there certain kinds that are thinner than others? Cuz I was really pounding at it, to the point where it was making a dent in the spacer, but it would not create any wiggle room between the hub... Thanks for the replies guys.

My hubs weren't rusted either and my spacers stuck. Had to use a hammer to hammer down the rear part of a claw hammer to pry it off. Oh and for what it's worth, the Macht Schnell spacers are horrible. They fell part on me. The centerbore piece broke off inside the wheel.

use a chisel. its got the thinness to get in between the hub and spacer nd the strength so it doesnt bend. and you have to let the wd-40 soak for a while. wd-40 is not the greatest its generic stuff so it takes a while for itto work.
