Vancouver: vinyl sticker license plate?

Hey guys, i've seen a few cars rolling around with front plates that are printed on some sort of vinyl sticker. Can anyone tell me where I can get this done or is it possible to do it at home?

i never understood that sticker thing...if you're gonna put the sticker, might as well just use the real thing. and i'm not 100% sure, but i think i've heard that the "no front plate" ticket is less than that of having the sticker.

I think the reason y people dont put plates is because they don't like drilling. But then again if your already at the no plate stage. I'd much rather keep it no plate. Either that or just mount your front license plate

The reason why I'm looking to get the sticker plate is I'm planning to mold my aerolip to my front bumper and at the same time I'm having the license plate holes filled.

i heard cops could deem these license plate stickers as a fake license plate, which you would face some very serious fines (depending on the cop), maybe GuyOh can shed some light on this? haha

i would just keep it no plate if i were you

well I don't get pulled over as much compared to when I was running no plate at all. Sometimes I get a ticket for it if I got pulled over for speeding, but sometimes no ticket at all.

Ok, got a response from revolution and they don't sell this sticker plate mod and have mentioned what has already been posted in this thread about it been illegal and you could get in a lot of trouble. Why can't we just get rid of the front plate!!! It'll save ICBC money!!!
