E90's Angel eyes

Of all of the pictures taken of the new 3 series, I have not seen one that puts some light on one of its best features!!

Xenon Adaptive Headlights

Do you have to get the Xenon Adaptive Headlights to get the angel eyes? Does this option change the way the headlights look? Is this option a must have, if you are buying a 325?

Xenon Adaptive Headlights provide optimum road illumination around corners, thanks to an electromechanical control system that directs the headlights into and around the bend as soon as the vehicle begins cornering.

Xenon's

Well I guess that is just one more reason to pay the extra 6k and go with the 330.

adaptive headlight and xenon headlight are seperate option here, you can order xenon headlight without adaptive to save some bux, it looks exactly the same but it just doesn't turn with the corner

Adaptive headlights are cool but it's something that we can live without.

Honestly, who here needed them b4 now??

Don't get me wrong, I like them but if it wasn't standard on the 330i. I prbably would not have gotten them.

"Halos" or "angel eyes" are only available with xenon lamps on every BMW that they have ever been available on as far as I know. At least in the US.

Does that mean the non-xenons are ugly? To be more specific, the outer shape is still the same but only the inner lamps look diferent correct?

Thanks
Skimo

Albeit, the outer shape is the same, the beauty within is not there. Go with the angel eyes. It is still a bimmer trade mark in this world of mundane cars.

Yeah, so far no company has stolen this styling cue unlike the Hoffmeister Kink.

Hi I'm new here! I found out about this forum when I had to look for some pictures of exterior colors for the E90 that my dad is going to order. It's gonna be a Sparkling Graphite 320d Aut. with black half leather sport seats, 17" style 158 wheels, chip (200hp and 400Nm) and some other stuff that is in the 'dynamic executive' version that you have in Holland..

On topic:

I know that a lot of people don't like the amber turn signal but I think that they look nice on the SG E90
