sirius question

might be a stupid question but do our f10's have sirius radio build in? all we need a subscription? or if i never got that option from a dealer I need to add something extra ? what do I need to get to get sirius ?

I could be wrong, but I believe you can retrofit it through software or additional equipment.

Yeah looks like it. You just pay to have the code enabled and it should show up on the idrive menu.

hmmm I called in and dealer said it's $800 since my build date for my 2011 was before june 2010 and it requires hardware upgrade... is that what it is or they're trying to pull a fast one on me? is there anyway to check if my car is capable of sirius radio without hardware upgrades?
