Cheap Front Tires - Nicer Rear TIres - should be ok?

I know there a lot of threads on this and on most of them people don't really recommend this.

I was hoping to get a set of Federal tires upfront and then have the hankooks for my rears since I'm getting the federals for like $220 mounted!

I don't do any track driving, but I do like to accelerate hard in straight lines and wouldn't mind a bit of a more sticky tire in the rear so I was thinking of putting the hankooks in the rears.

Would this really have a noticeable negative impact on the overall dynamics and handling of the vehicle? I would expect a bit of understeer, but I'm not trying to race, just daily driving, with the occasional WOT.

I might go with a similar setup.

don't do it. Buy all the tires the same because it will effect even daily driving. Car can't handle well without proper tires. It is an essential component to a vehicle

The Hankooks really aren't that much better than the Federals IMO.

Would I be better off saving about $300 and running federals all around then?

I just want to be able to go WOT without standing in one spot spinning like I do on my winters haha.

Don't do it. I don't think it would be worth it if you broke down your savings over the lifetime of your tires.
