Alignment, camber plates, air pressure, wheel bearings. The point is it can be a bunch of things. Process of elimination till the problem is solved. I'd start with alignment.

stock 335i here with stock michelin rft 18". the rear tires are shot now at 24k miles and it is wearing on the inside more. which makes sense due to its negative camber from the factory

How many miles? Inside edge wear is normal on our cars, especially in the rear. Sucks, but that's the way it is. If you run non-directional tires, you can switch them side for side to equalize the wear and make them last a bit longer, but high performance tires are soft to begin with. If you get 20K off a stock set in the rear, you are doing good, unless you drive like a 90-year-old grandmother!

When was the last time you double checked your alignment? If it is wearing out quite excessively in the inside, then you may have bad toe.

Probably alignment. I had the exact same problem last year. I chewed through my summer tires in less than 5 months. The shop that did my alignment said it was the worst they've ever seen on a BMW ... my bad... won't ever happen again.
