USB Port in Glovebox?

I have noticed that many of the discussions about iPod, USB, iPhone, etc., connectivity mention a USB port in the glovebox. I can't find one in my new F10 535i (delivered end of March) and am wondering why? How many of you out there don't have a USB port in the glovebox? I'm still getting acquainted with this car which is the first BMW I have owned (replaces a Lexus GS300). Thanks in advance.

It's tucked away on the upper right side. You may need a flashlight to see it.

Thanks--went and took a look. I see where it is supposed to be but instead there is a snap-in cover over a square hole in the upper right side of the glovebox, towards the front. I wonder why.........?

Do you have NAV? I thought you needed to have it to have the USB in the glove box. I may be wrong...

No, I don't have NAV--don't really need it on the Big Island in Hawaii. Anyone else out there without NAV but who has a glove box USB port?

This USB slots comes only with the Professional Sat Nav, as it syncs with the hard drive.

Not true. I have no Nav, and I have USB. I thought that was coming with an iPod option, but would not bet on this.

And you are referring to the USB port in the glove compartment, not the one in the arm rest right?

You may still have a port in the glove box, it will not work without the prof sat nav.
