Time for new tires

Ok, the RFT are almost shot, and it's time for new tires. Here are two possible replacement scenarios:

1. Michelin PS2 ZP run flats. (I like the security of a run flat).

or

2. Michelin Super Sports or comparable Summer performance non-run-flats. (What do you guys do in case of flats?)

One last note, if I decide to go with an All Season High Performance tire, what would you recommend? The new Bridgestone 970 A/S, Continental DWS, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus? (The reason I may consider these is sometimes I do drive in freezing conditions, a few weeks out of the year).

I have PS2 non RFT's and love them. As far as flats a can of fix a flat with a small compressor or an //M mobility kit in the trunk will work. If you really like the RFT's I have heard the PS2 ZP is a good choice. I would skip switching from an RFT to non RFT all season since the change in sidewall stiffness would be pretty shocking.

If I lived in the states, I would buy the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. These tires have an extremely high wear rating (500) and always get good reviews. A lot of the PS2 guy switch to the Pilot Sport A/S Plus for the wear.

As A/S tires don't exist in Europe, I had to decide between the PS2, PS3, and Pilot Primacy HP (Grand Touring Summer, W Rated). Due to wear considerations, and potential light snow, I ended up with the Primacy HP.

Super Sports are great tires, my vote would be for those.

For an all season a Continental ExtremeContact DWS would fit the bill nicely. Both of those tires have been very popular with our customers and I haven't heard any of our customers complain about them.
