Ideal tire size on 18\" wheel

Guys I just order a new set of matt Black forgestars 18\". 18x8.5 et30 and 18x10 ET38 rear. I want something that looks beefy, meaty. I already order PSS 255/35/18 and 275/35/17 but I was thinking may be a 255/40/18 and 275/40/rear would look more aggressive. Would this profile throw my speedometer off or would it be too hash on my breaks. My previous set up was AD08s 245/35/19 no rub and 275/30/19 no rub.
Also not sure if the PSS run on 40 profile or not.

Thank for the help.

255/40/18 is too big in diameter to fit on the front. 255/35/18 front tire that you ordered is already going to be a tight fit to get under the fender at ET30. You may need some extra negative camber to make it fit.

Thank u for posting. I'm runing m3 suspention bit, that adds .5 negative chamber space. What u think?

The M3 wishbones are longer than the stock ones - It works by moving the hub outwards. Because the top of the strut is still fixed in the same position, I don't think it helps with fender clearance.

If you have trouble with fender clearance of 255/35/18 at ET30, its better to move the top of the strut inwards. Either cutting the alignment pin or maybe get the fixed camber plates from Dinan. If you do both mods, I think it adds around 1 degree in total.

Make sense. Thank u. Still I think I should be good. I had 245/35/19 before no rubbing ever on ET32. Square tire too.
