Rim & Tire Fitment

Can I run 255/35 square setup on the oem staggered wheels (193m).

Orig POST

I have a 2011 335i xDrive M Sport. I am a bit confused about the wheel size...

Are the rims 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in the back or 18x8 all around? Also what are the largest tires I can run? Could I run 255/35 all around square setup?

The tires are staggered, so they're not 8 all around on msport package cars.
I'd stick with oem rubber sizes, aka 225 front and 255 rear. There's also a tire and wheel section where you'll get better answers if you're interested.

I wouldn't recommend a 255 square setup to be honest. You might get some rubbing issues up front. I'd recommend sticking with a 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 square setup instead.

The narrowest wheel a 255/35/18 would be recommended for would be an 8.5" anyway. If you are planning on putting them on an 8" wide wheel it'll be the opposite of stretching.
