TPMS Sensors

Did the LCI changes for the e92 introduce changes to BPMS TMPS sensors? I am having winter tires installed onto a new set of aftermarket wheels from TSW.

The TPMS sensors seem to be too wide to fit onto the new wheels (there is a gap).

Do I need to buy special TPMS sensors and / or valves -- the installer told me I needed to get narrower sensors.

I am in touch with the manufacturer and the place where I purchased the wheels. They are telling me that the OEM sensors should fit.

Your OEM TPMS sensors will fit perfectly fine on those TSW wheels. Do you have a picture of the sensor on the wheel? Which part of the sensor is too wide?

I'm a newbie to aftermarket wheels.

I may not be describing the problem correctly..from what I understand, the gasket and O ring are too wide, leaving a gap after the tire cap is placed.

The installer tried to use other nuts and gaskets as well.

The gap is on the outside of the wheel.
