Do i need Hub centering rings?
Hello,
I have an e92 335i with sports package. I recently bought a set of ASA ar1 18x8 box setup and also 2 extra 18x9 for the staggered set up. Since I received a great deal. These rims did not come with Hub centering rings, do I need any for these rims to put on the e92 ? b/c tire rack says they are sized for my car? I cant find the hub bore size anywhere online for these rims, or for an e92. Please help, I want to put these rims on.... |

the best thing is going to be for you to flip the wheels face down and messure the center bore, if you dont have the tool to messure just take one front wheel and one rear wheel to a local mechanic or tire shop, they will give you the messurement in mm. your vehicle has a 72.56 hub, if the wheel is a different size then is usually a 74.1.
just about all aftermarket wheels that are truely made for BMW with a 5x120 bolt pattern either carry a 72.56 bore( BMW 3ser and new 5ser,6ser,7ser,M3 etc) and 74.1 for the olde 5ser, X5,. lol sorry if i confused you !! happy new year !!! |

From my experience, Tirerack would include those rings if you needed them. When I bought a set of wheels from them years ago and didn't even realize I needed the hubcentric rings, they were included. With that said though, you should either measure the bore to make sure it is the same as your car (72.6mm), take it to a shop for them to measure, or call up a rep from Tirerack to see if they can check. They should have that info handy I would think.
