What size spacer for e93 dropped on et 35/38
Hello all,
I have an e93 dropped using ST coilovers. The drop is pretty mild (i still have about a finger length between the tire and wheel well all around. I am running 19 inch rims. 19x8 et 35 in the front (with 235/35 tires) and 19x9 et 38 in the rear (with 265/30 tires). I am thinking about getting 15mm spacers all the way around. Based on my measurements, I should be fine. However, this will take my offset all the way down to 20 in the front and 23 in the rear. Is this generally considered too aggressive? In your experience, do you think I will have too many rubbing issues? The reason I am hesitant is that when I bought these rims I was told it will give me the perfect flush look, and a 35/38 offset is in the general ball park of what most of the posts recommend. Am I pushing it too much with a 15mm spacer? FYI - my measurement said I have about 21mm of clearance, but I dont want to go with a 20mm spacer. Last edited by BAYsic; 12-29-2011 at 05:23 PM.. |

I had almost the same offsets as you did when I had my old set up.
I added 10mm spacer up front and a 15mm spacer in the rear, this gave me a flush look without any rubbing (rolled fenders). BBS CH 19x8.5 +35 = +25 19x9.5 +40 = +25 New setup with no spacers BBS CH 19x8.5 +20 19x10.5 +20 no rub at all. |

Thanks, I see that your rims were 1/2 inch wider both in the front and the rear. Do you think that since I am narrower on the rim, I would be okay with the 15mm all the way around and not need the fender roll?

depending on what size tire you're setting it up with. If you have falkens you wouldn't need to roll, you can definitely do 255/35/19 rear and 235/35/19 front with no rub.
