Removing old tpms

The tire shop I'm at is trying to remove the tpms from my stock 189 wheel and put it on my new Miro 111s but they can't get the old tpms off they're telling me so I have rubber valves for now but does anyone know how I can get the old tpms off?

What is their actual reason for not being able to remove TPMS? Any tire shop should be able to remove the TPMS easily.

They were saying it was corroded into the wheel and they didn't want to break it to remove it. Of course i didn't get an opportunity to see it myself.
