Supersprint Race system for F10 M5?

Does anyone know anything about the Supersprint Race exhaust for the F10 M5? On their website it shows it exists, and costs less money than the sport??

No videos from what I can find. Does this really exist?

Left Street Muffler w/ Dual Round 100mm Tips
022 986 746 Price: $1,098.28
The Supersprint rear mufflers are of the performance proven flow through resonated design, rather than the baffled chamber design used by the factory and many other manufactures. (more info)

I found the above blog. So there are now 3 types of Supersprint mufflers. The sport, race and valved:

The silencers are available in 3 versions:

SPORT
TUV approved exhaust: the best compromise of comfort and sportiness. Fitted alone they’ll give a deeper tone at low revs and a sportier, more exotic tone at high revs, but nothing extreme. Depending on what other Supersprint components they are coupled with the sound will be more or less aggressive.

RACE
These mufflers offer the most extreme sound, sacrificing some comfort for excitement.

VALVED
These mufflers are equipped with pneumatic actuated bypass valves that connect to the OEM control system. They are quiet and refined when the valves are closed, and gets wilder and more aggressive when they are open.

BTW they want $5,440 to $5,610 for the valved mufflers (price is dependent on chrome or black tip finish)....ouch!:

Thank you for the info. Could the race axel back actually be less money than the sport version?

In theory, there should be less internal materials/complications involved in the Race mufflers, I can see there being a lower cost to the manufacturer and that lower cost can be passed along to the consumer. The descriptions are exactly the same so they really aren't disclosing the technical differences between the two exhausts. The street exhaust is TUV approved so you know it had to meet certain sound level criteria.

They certainly do! And they are now the most popular versions of the exhaust.

The Race really opens up the sound. The Sport system is essentially a stock-like system, though good if you are going catless to control the sound.

Here's a video of the sound:

We can supply these at great rates, PM me for a deal!

That's my car in the video, and that is the sport version. I have not heard the race, but I would recommend it over the sport, which was not aggressive enough for my taste. Good luck.

Thanks Rob. I thought I had seen that video before. Just concerned that the race wouldn't be enough of a change. I live about an hour from Turner Motorsports...I might have to take a drive up there to listen to their exhaust. What's ur recommendation? Just not sure I like the Corsa look.

Muffler delete is a phenomenal way to go if you want loud. Keeps the tone high pitched and bright. Some of the muffler options I've heard focus too much of the sound on the bass note, which is boomy IMO.

So...your recommendation is the Turner?

My recommendation is the Eisenmann Race. I've never heard the Turner setup. I have heard a muffler delete system before, and while its not my cup of tea personally, it's freaking insane.

Sorry Rob, we've removed that video from our records for that. We've yet to get a video made of the Racing one, but its a significant increase in top end for the system and less bassy than the sport.

We released the R&D labs post prior to having the racing mufflers finalized.

They are now finished and ready to be shipped. They feature lipless tips for a more aggressive style and as a result are a bit cheaper.

If you guys have any questions, let us know! All components are in stock and ready to be shipped.

It looks like you also changed the pricing on the website from from $922.56 for each muffler ($1,845.12) to $3,200.... I am no longer interested in buying...

SupersprintNA.com is absolutely not our property and we don't control their pricing. It is the former distributor's website; the reason why Supersprint hasn't been active for years in the US!

We can happily work something out, give us a call
