Washington state tire rack locations

I bought some rims from a forum member, and want to have them shipped to a tire rack location near the I-5 Seattle or north. and get some tires put on and pick them up there. Any thoughts.

They don't have any outlets that I'm aware of. On the TireRack site they have all kinds of installation shops that they reccommend. I had some tires directly shipped to a Goodyear shop in Tacoma, where I had them installed.

Any local tire shop will allow the rims to be shipped to them, providing they do the installation. I actually had my last set shipped to my dealer, who gave me a great price for mounting and road force balancing.

I would be cautious with shipping goods to a shop that you have never dealt with before (liability of goods received and storage depending on when you plan to pick them up). If it was me, I would ship them to a 3rd party postal handler (Mail Box etc, or similar) for pick up. Yeah, you would pay a small handling fee but they should be bonded and insured.

Alternatively, if you haven't bought tires yet, buy them from TireRack and have the tires and wheels shipped to Point Roberts, Wa. Send it to The Letter Carrier. Since you're from Victoria, take the ferry over, pick the items up when they both arrive and take it to somewhere like Advance Motorsport to have them mounted. You should be able to have all of this easily done in one day and back home if you co-ordinate everything correctly.
