Launch Cars/HEA Still Modifiable?
As the title states...are launch cars/HEA cars still modifiable (as of today 3/5/14)?
I know this would be considered a stretch, but if they still can be modified, couldn't a dealer equate this to an "extra allocation?" In other words, if they were already provided with an allocation as a launch car, but they have a buyer lined up, then why wouldn't this be considered an "free/additional" allocation. Am I wrong here? These cars can be sold to customers, there aren't any restrictions, correct? And maybe there might be even a little more negotiating room??? BTW, what really happens to these dealer launch cars after everyone takes a spirited test drive? Are the demo'd. I have never seen a loaner M car out my way. This was Ghetto2315's post on 2/26/14

They are not modifiable and usually sold once additional models show up on the lot.

Regardless, I believe the consensus is now launch cars are no longer modifiable. Quote:

I was told week 22 for production and then add a couple of weeks for shipping. Apparently it got bumped back to this week after the order was modified, it was previously scheduled to be produced 2-3 weeks earlier.
