Finally buying wheels.. Iforged.. help me decide

IForged Drifts Black with Sapphire lip

IForged Drifts Anthracite or Hypergunmetal with polished lip

Please help me decide which.. I have been trying to decide if the sapphire lip matches montego blue well enough. And I am just gonna have to leave it up to the judges. So thanks in advance for the helping hand.

I plan on doing the same thing, but I dont think it'll look right if the blue on the lip doesnt match the car. Those pics you posted are indoors so you cant really see too much different. If you search for the guys thread here, when its outdoors it doesnt really look so good.

So I say yes to the blue lip as long as it matches. Otherwise go with polished to be safe.

Heres what it looks like outdoors: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghlight=RIEGER

those rims are sick. i would go polished unless you are able to see the sapphire lip in person next to the car before you order.

Not really a fan of the colored lips. Keep it classic, go polished.

I'd say go with the polished look. I think there are two sets of the drifts in hyper gunmetal with polished lip in the For Sale forum so you can also save some money too with no wait time.

To pull off the blue lips I think that you need to have the rest of the car match... do you have any other cosmetic mods? On a mostly stock montego I think it will look out of place, and in that case I would go with a polished lip, which will never go out of style either.

well i focused on nothing but go fast goodies.. Next step make it look like it is fast. Problem I ran into when trying to keep the car sleeper.. is the fact that it is so loud now that people know it shouldnt be taken lightly. So now it is time to make it look as fast as it is.

Too many people have gunmetal. I think gunmetal is more for white cars, but anthracite is definitely the way to go on montego blue . Hope this helps, check these pics out, anthracite is sick on that blue!

Go to dan@modcity , hell be able to help you out no problem, he helps everyone out a lot. I have iforged and got them from him as well. A+

Good Luck!

I didnt know anthracite was so damn nice!!! I agree with Bimmerboy, both are nice, but anthracite blends better.

My vote = Anthracite

+1. Also, you should check out the brushed alum. finish for these wheels; I think they'd look amazing on your car.

btw -- why iForged? I've heard many ppl have had fitment/rubbing problems with iForged on their 335i's (and they're not the lightest forged wheels); they do look great though.

People have fitment problems because Iforged has a 10 inch wheel with a 4 inch lip in the back and then they slam their rear with springs or coils. Of course its going to rub unless you roll the fender. You barely need to roll you fenders with these wheels

Consider Hyper Black too before you buy. Here's some pics from a thread Dan sent me:

I know it's not Montego, but you can get an idea of the color.

Here's Hyper Gunmetal on a Montego, pic again from Dan:
