Need Help: To Order Instrument Panel With Leather Finish

Good day everyone,

I need some help specially from M5 F10 owners who have ordered their cars or from BMW agents...

I have been waiting for the M5 F10 LCI to be launched in order to configure my dream car. When I started configuring the car, I found out that when I choose any of the currently offered BMW Individual Interior colors, the Instrument Panel would not come in Leather Finishing!! Rather it comes in the standard type of instrument panel.

Honestly, it would really bother me to have BMW M5 individual, yet the Instrument Panel is Standard !!

When I checked with my dealer, I was informed that the only way for me to enjoy the Leather Instrument Panel, would be to choose Full Merino Leather for the interior of the car, which comes in 3 colors only; Black, Silver-stone, or Sakhir Orange (SO)...

Even though I might consider SO, I am seeking your guidance if any one managed to order either:
1. BMW Individual Interior color, or
2. Extended Merino Leather (Not Full)...
And yet have managed to combine this with Leather Instrument Panel.

If there is any one who has done this and can help out either by suggesting the specific part number or the way to do that, or even a person to contact within BMW Individual Department, please help out.

BTW, I do know that this is doable while configuring BMW non M 5-Series and even 6-Series, but my question is very specific about the M5 F10, and I would be glad to reach a solution to address that.

Yes, you can order FULL individual leather which includes leather dash (instrument panel). It is a special order request.

The answer is he needs to order a Z1XX interior package. That's the code for any special order Individual interior (regardless of color). It will result in a change of your production date.

Ask your dealer to submit to his regional BMW rep, a request for an Individual Special Order for:
Z1XX Full Individual Merino <<Insert Color>> Leather

As part of this request also mention if you want color matched Alcantara headliner or Anthracite headliner. The default on Z1XX is color matched.

Production date is typically 8 weeks from when the Special Order Individual order is accepted.

Thats on top of the 6 weeks transport tho.
And with individual, could be up to 6 months

What about the required code for an exterior color that is not offered on the M5 pls?

Not 6 months - I've done this a few times and it never takes that long. It's normally 8 weeks from order acceptance to build, and then 4-8 weeks to ship to the USA.

The issue is order acceptance can take up to 4 weeks if they are back logged. I recently ordered a special order Individual M5 and order acceptance took 2 weeks and then the production date was after 7 weeks. So it's not as bad as last summer when they first launched the F10 M5 in the US.

You also need to specify which color you want from the BMW paint codes (or supply a sample)
