I join the M3-> M5 club
Just cannot pass the invoice pricing and the incentives on the M5 (not the mention the 61% residual). I'm paying 1100 for a 120k car whereas the 80k M3 would cost me 1060. Just does not make sense and M5 is a much better car all around (at least for my use case as I have a wife and kids and don't track my car much often).
I have submitted my order and waiting for production number. I'm still going to hang around here and most likely will pick up an LCI + ZCP M3 in 3 years when my M5 lease is up and M3 is selling in discount. I hope the M3/M4 works out for people who are sticking around. Thanks. |

I think we'll see a lot more people doing this given the disparity in lease costs.

If I wasn't buying, I would definitely consider the M5. Hopefully they will have similar deals in 3-4 years

Wow, somebody moved the thread to the M5 forum. Looks like nobody wants to see anything slightly negative about M3 or M3 sales. We can't even say M5 is a better deal than M3. Geez.

Only problem I see is F10 borders on old 7 series in size. F80 is close to my old E60 in size. Going from E60 to E90 was like stepping a sports car again.

I test drove the M5, it doesn't feel big at all. It's an amazing car. I wouldn't get hang up on the size so much. The old cars were small to begin with.

I think 2 production years left for the F10 chassis. 2016 will be last one.
