I used to hear it quite abit on my 2011 model but the new one I can't say I have heard it even once. There must be a way to code the volume of it so we can turn it up even if it is just to see what it is about. I think if it's there it's too discrete.

Yes. If you drive in S3 and down shift at 3k+ revs it rev matches. I'm running Eisen Race and it sounds awesome.
