Current Discounts?

I picked up my 2013 when they first hit the dealers (post oil pump issue) in the US. Lets just say I didnt get the best deal ever! I am planning on ordering a 2015 this summer. What kind of discount should I expect? I think at least 5% is a good start? Sticker price will be $120k+.

Thoughts?

Also, dealer recommendations? I have no problem traveling to pick up the car.

thanks!

You are not going to get a good discount if you wait for 15s and also order in summer. Summer months plus new model year is always more expensive. Residuals are great now and they will eventually go down. The cash incentives you get right now will also not be there. I dont think there will be new changes to the car this time since LCI was a major upgrade last year.

Exactly. The deals are so strong right now I'm not sure how much better people want to do. There really comes a point where it's a great deal regardless of what happens next month/model year/etc, and we are there now. Could the deal get sweeter, maybe. But I suspect they will blow out inventory with the current incentives and get back to a more normal market when the weather improves, etc. I say go for it now and enjoy.

I would just be so pissed if they changed something (even a small thing) for 2015.... hmmm... decisions decisions. I had planned to order frozen silver too... if I picked a 2014 up of the lot, I obviously would not be able to get it.

Lock in your deal at March rates and order it!! You can look at both April and May rates/residuals during the wait and cherry pick if anything improves. But you probably know this already!!

PS. Just find a dealer with 2 or 3 in inventory. They won't care about giving up a future allocation at a steep discount as much

If we lock in an april rate--how long can you delay pickup for euro delivery? I need to pick up in September.

Obviously it will depend on the mood of the dealer, but you "could" expect -7% off MSRP, plus $1500 build out, to bring you $1500 below dealer invoice.

That's what many of us are seeing, sometimes better. But again, depends on dealer. Some will only do this on a car on premises also.

The invoice price is not exactly 7% off, sometimes it maybe 6 or 8.
