Current M5 pricing - Canada

Trying to decide between a M5 and a E63 AMG S. Pretty sure which way I am going, that's why I am here.

What is a reasonable discount off MSRP in the current M5 market place. Knowing we are at the end of the model year does this change much? Who has recent data? Dealer offered up 5% pretty quick. I have purchased 3 vehicles from him before. Unsure how deep the well is on this at this time of year on a 2014 or an ordered 2015.

All your help is appreciated.

No factory credit allowance for the month of June for M5. However, there is a $15K factory credit allowance on the M6 / M6 GC / M6 Conv. Therefore, this + whatever you can get off from the dealer side for those mentioned models could yield of over $20-$22K grand total discount off the configured MSRP.

M5 is selling alright in the GTA, M6 and variants are not moving well and that's why you see such a huge credit allowance given.

A member here just traded in his 13 M5 for a 14 M6 last month in Toronto.

Try to get 7% off. That's dealer invoice.

In Canada, the dealer gross margin on the car is 9%.

Therefore, given it's end of MY2014, you should try for 7% range, which still leave the dealer about 2%.

Just watch out those bogus dealer fees and add on options (like charging you for carpet or rubber mats, wheel locks, putting nitrogen air into your tires, vin etching admin fees, etc ... in all these items total about $1000) and then the dealer also make $ on the PDI and dealer admin fee on top.

$15K? Is that for real?

I was looking at moving to an M6 GC next year, but maybe I should do it now

You should get some sort of loyalty credit if you're a returning BMW customer, the normal credit is around $1500.

And BMW's been calling my phone nonstop for the past month to see if I'm interested trading in my 7 series, the rep said they would offer $3500 credit towards a new lease/finance.

for August incentives, the 7 series has $15,000 factory credit allowance + $2,000 loyalty bonus + $3,000 dealer bonus *. For the last part *, I am sure if you want more from the dealer side discount, you can def. get more. I am sure dealer would love to unload this 7 series in a hurry, the longer it sits, the more discount is forthcoming.
