Planet Fitness...
ive heard so many negative reviews about it, but i went with my friend today...oh my god i love it...going to sign up this friday!!
first off, they had 2 bench presses, and 2 squat racks...ive heard so many times that it has neither...it had well over a hundred eliptical, treadmill, and bicycle machines...it also had 3 different sets of free weights...a buncha extras like tanning, lockers, showers, massage chairs etc...all in all i really like it, and feel like my gains are definitely gonna go up...finally going to start working out my legs to get ready for football, as well as dunk for basketball season...anyone else go to planet fitness?? |

the good thing is that this gym, although it has so much weight training equipment, is full of girls that think theyre too fat so the majority of the people are running...i was there during "peak" hours according to the chart and didnt have to wait more than 2 minutes for any machine (the only 2 i had to wait for was the bench press and tricep extension)

haha... probably not on the west coast huh. i go to a private club... pretty pricey but service is good, always have new machines to try, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, etc... like this one time they had this "rope climbing machine" its kinda like climbing a rope in one of those old school gym classes... except your sitting on this chair that depresses and you climb up the rope depending on how much tension you want... pretty different but good for the lats.

I've had so many memberships at different clubs its insane. I've tried them all from the pricey health clubs to the hole in the middle of no where steel dungeons. I actually prefer gyms that get to the point. No contract, monthly membership, with equal amounts of steel and cardio. Proky's Gym in Miami is pretty good except many people have caught on and it gets pretty packed during peak hours. It has plenty of free weights, a good amount of cardio, some good hammer strength machines, and the machines for the girlies. JOY
