Do you have 10 inch wide front wheels and 11 inch wide rear wheels if you are running 275/35 and 305/30? I'm curious since I want to run that exact setup.
Let me know since I have a few questions. |

I just installed the same rear tire yesterday. I expected better handling/traction and I feel it; however I'm not sure if it's because of just wider tire or new tire (or both)!

Michelin PSS 305/30/20 can be installed on 10.5-11.5" rims. The rear rims of 343M for M5 are 10" wide and for M6 are 10.5" wide.

I'm only interested since I'm considering winter tires for these rims, rather than buying a wheel set.

I like the wider look and for cornering the tire size increase front and rear is a definite improvement over the stock 19" wheels and tires. For acceleration however I can't report any real improvement in the first two gears. The engine easily overwhelms the 305 tire and I'm slipping and sliding.

Anyone have any other pictures of M5s lowered to the Dinan recommendation? My searches found Steve Dinan's in the press along with one other blue one (Bottch77) on this site. Any others?

Installed. Will take better pictures later.
I specifically asked for a 0.6 inch drop all around but it appears the front is dropped lower...the dealer swears they meticulously measured this. Thoughts? Perhaps the front needs to be raised 0.1 inch. |

Hard to tell from your pictures and the car being black as to how much a gap there is. I think Dinan is supposed to maintain the factory rake of the car as they lower it. I haven't taken mine in yet for the install. I have the kit in hand and just waiting. How does the car feel after install? |

My only concern is dialing in the right ride height as I'm relying on the dealer to do it. |
