As we posted about recently, the F10 M5 exterior color palette will include:

The exterior colors are as follows:
  • Alpine White
  • Black Sapphire Metallic
  • Havana
  • Imperial Blue
  • Monte Carlo Blue
  • Silverstone
  • Singapore Gray
  • Space Gray

BMW Individual exterior color options include:
  • Brilliant White Metallic
  • Frozen Gray Metallic
  • Frozen Silver Metallic
  • Citrine Black Metallic
  • Azurite Black Metallic
  • Moonstone Metallic
  • Amazonite Silver Metallic
  • Champagne Quartz Metallic

We've compiled the following gallery of new renders, past spy photos, and samples from other BMW models to give you an idea of what the color palette will look like on the 2012 F10 M5. This will hopefully help our future F10 M5 owner members decide on the color for their new M5.

Liking the Moonstone option - almost looks frozen. Best of both worlds?

Love these colors! (Still however wish there was a Red option)

Having trouble picturing blue brake calipers with most of these though...are we sure they will really be standard and not an option? I'm thinking they can't put them with every color...

My choice would be Moonstone or Citrine Black.

Make mine one of two different ways:

(A) By the book: Havana Brown exterior over Sakhir Orange & Black full leather interior with fine-line dark brown wood trim; (completely dechromed with) black grilles, sidemarkers, all other trim, & black 343M rims (plus an extra set for Blizzak season); manual transmission & short-throw shifter; orange-anodized aluminum pedals with black rubber horizontal lines; all reasonable options except cruise control and those having to do with Apple entertainment (I'm undecided about rear-seat DVD players); carbon ceramic brake upgrade; performance steering wheel, if needed.

(B) Wild Style: Velvet Blue Metallic over Champagne & Black full leather interior with Olive Ash Red-Brown Trim...all else as in (A), above.

That Moonstone metallic is going to be a win on the new F10 M5.
Pics are slightly wrong compare to the real life. It looks much better.

+1 , I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Singapore Grey on a BMW or any other car for that matter..

Yah. Managed to put together what I wanted (sans manual trans, which I understand is an NA feature alone) for the equivalent of about $80K. (Based on differential between X6M UK & US, and then cross-conversion on M5 prices.

Hell, I can't even build a fully-loaded M3 on the US configurator for less than 70K.
