Sometimes it's mad fun (and great sounding) to rip off some revs in your BMW in enclosed spaces such as tunnels or underground garages. So how would the 560hp F10 M5 MotoGP Safety Car with its Akrapovic exhaust system sound in the BMW Welt? As you can see in the video below, pretty damn awesome! Be sure to watch in 1080p.

For more photos and videos of the F10 M5 Safety Car and its debut at the BMW M Experience at the Indianapolis MotoGP, see @ http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=578339

Thanks for the post, looks bulky I noticed 2 things on the car which didn't exist on my order.

Firstly the fully black grills, my dealer said that they don't have black grills that are compatible with night vision. Apparently night vision compatible grills must have some hole in it? Does anyone know about this problem?

Secondly, black wheels. I didn't see them in option list for ordering.

Also does anyone know how long does it take to fully assemble a fully optioned, non-individual vehicle? My car's production started on January 5, on January 10 I confirmed that it already has the chassis number.

I'm glad I live in un-real life then because this made my willy tingle. Practical and necessary don't apply to this level of car. I would gladly go DEAF for this sort of music.

I wonder how much real world performance comes from those open pipes when the car already has 560hp conservatively rated. Personally, I think the noise is for show.

Now that I herd the exhaust I can finally comment and say it doesn't sound better then the v10 but still an overall great car

The V10 M5 really was something special - sounded like a F1. No way is a turbocharged V8 going to match that.

Is it just me or M3 with OEM exhaust mod or M3 with Akrapovic exhaust sound way better than this?

LOL at the comments. When you guys see the F10 M5 performance numbers you quickly forget the S85. Then you hear the S63tu and all of a sudden you miss the S85.

Yes, the black grils doesn't fit with the night vision, so I guess this M5 doesn't have this option.

When we were at the IAA the driver blipped the throttle and the whole exhibit immediately stopped. Sounded a lot more tame than these videos, but I think the driver had the valve closed.
