Cool First Delivered BMW M5 F10 in Out of This World Moonstone Individual

First Delivered BMW M5 F10 in Out of This World Moonstone Individual

COMMENTS

Congratulations to M5POST member and happy new M5 owner, HHSAM, on the delivery of his F10 M5 in Moonstone Individual, the first such color M5 on the site.

The exterior color is Moonstone Metallic (one of BMW's recommended Individual colors for the new M5). The interior is Platinum Merino full extended leather and the trim is Auburn Sycamore. The Moonstone Metallic color with its depth and ever changing look in different lights (sometimes silver, sometimes light mineral green) is unique and even more impressive in person.

This is a Gulf spec M5, so it came standard with all options included.

We've updated our Owner Registry to include this Moonstone M5 and HHSAM will surely chime in with his own words.

Bonus pics below of the first F10 M5 Moonstone shown, during the F10 M5's debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The new M5 looks amazing in any color!

I just wonder why does they all have blacked out inner exhaust pipes. Seems like BMW did not corrected this small mistake on a nearly perfect car.

looking forward for a fair comparison of new M5 and E63TT with performance package. That should be hell of a battle, and I'm not sure who's gonna win.

Outside looks awesome, but I just don't understand who gets an M5 with the wood interior. That's for a standard F10 ... M5s are all about performance and speed. Somehow the wood makes it boring to me.

Those are some seriously good pictures. It goes without saying that the color is absolutely amazing too. I thought Monte Carlo Blue was going to be the best color, I was wrong! One of these might be my next wallpaper on my laptop.

I dont understand the chrome window trims, they should be all black and not chrome(like a regular 5 series). Still looks great, but takes away from the sportiness of the car

I think the reason why the inner pipes are blacked out is that the outer pipes have the valve that opens and closes (closed most of the time) which means that more exhast, and therefore more soot, collects on the inner pipes. Whenever I wash mine the 4 pipes look identical and then the inners get progressively more dirty. That will of course be cured once I have the break in service and the outer pipes are open more often
