In order for me to do coding what are the software and hardware i need and where can i buy from?

For anyone who is willing to pay a little more to simplify the process april1 will send out a cable and a usb drive with the software and data files. I think it was $50-75 for everything. He's on bimmerfest, and he's the second post on the above posted thread.

This is the best way to go IMO. Downloading is not hard, but you are talking about 25GB of downloaded data so it takes a while even with a fast connection.

+1...got to be patient and have a fast connection. This is a good option for those who want to get everything in one fell swoop.

Yeah with my connection it was pretty quick. Took 3-4 hours.

I went this route as well, convenient to have the files cable and instructions all arrive together.

Must be a black belt in coding.
