Punctured rear tire 8.000 kilometers, change both ?

# sorry, wrong section, please remove to wheels and tire section.

Hi Guys,

I got me a punctured rear tire with the M5 at 8.000 kilometers.

Should I change both at the same time ? The tires have 6mm's left and cost about € 540,00 a piece.

Dealer says it might influence the ESP / ABS or other gizmo's.

Thanks for your reply.

Nope, a nail in the sidewall so 1 tire needs to be changed whatsoever.

Besides they don't seem to be keen on repairing tires for M's

they never repair tires for M anywhere
u need to tell them "i know it is my responsibility, i dont need a receipt for it, just do it pls" and they will do it, unless as you have stated it is a sidewall

i had tires with different thread but 2mm is not that significant, change 1, make sure u do laser wheel alignment, if you havent done any recently and it should be fine!

if you dont like it after 100km change second one and keep the one which is still good for emergency
or go ebay and find one with 6mm thread
