Just Got A Quote.
Hey Guys Just got off the phone with my local BMW Dealer for a F10 M5 i'm more leaning towards a Base car. for around 94k and the one in the showroom he gave me my quote on (GRY/RED) $103k Was not in my intention of buying. but just wanted to see where this car stands.
$6000 Out Of Pocket 12k Miles Per Year $1601,85 Per Month For 36 Months I Really Wanna Be Around the $900/$1100 Range Per Month guess it's better off. I Order my car. Let me know what you guys think.

That is an interesting deal. What was the car equipped with. How much above (if at all) invoice is that? Check bmwconfig.com.
I have a similar question. My local BMW dealers seemed to have stockpiled some M5's for year end (2-3 at a few dealers). I suspect two things: 1) they had planned to unload these to make a bang out of 2012 2) they are having trouble unloading these due to oil pump issue. How motivated do you think they will be to clear these out? Does anyone know of any upcoming deals in the new year? Will the $2000 holiday + $750 loyalty + 3.29% APR go away after 1/1/13? Really curious if right now is the most optimal time to buy or will they be equally motivated to move the in the new year? |

I would say a bare M5 does not exist. It's a matter of what toys you want. They only options that appealed to me were the 20" wheels, full leather, and HUD. The drive in this car is amazing. I could have gotten every single option, but frankly when I drive I listen to the engine(:

I'm not sure I understand the point of having an Audi A8 as a dd and an M5 as a toy. Seems to me the M5 with a couple of buttons pushed would be able to act as both. Perhaps you should consider trading in the A8, get a loaded M5 and a nice set of winter tires. Done.

Find a dealer that will get you a deal at ED invoice plus a fair profit to the them. With 6K out of pocket you'll probably still be closer to $1,200 a month if you add some options even with ED.

Negotiate a price over invoice. IF doing ED, PM me and i can give you my CA's name. Great guy and dealership in OH. As previous posts go to bmwconfig.com and price out your car. Also check www.ridewithg.com and get the current lease residuals and money factor (MF) for the 2013 M5. Find out the sales price of the car and then the MF. The MF should be as close to the money factor listed on www.ridewithg.com. This website will show you the "buy rate" for the MF and the dealer will usually add about .002 - .004 for their finance department to make money. If you have a good relationship with your dealer then you may get the "buy rate".

I agree with this statement...at the very least, I would go for the Executive Package...there are just too many things missing from a base M5 in my opinion that should be standard on a car of that caliber...
