Thats what I was referring to, just the slats. I believe the BMW kidneys are two parts and can be separated. So Im thinking I could reuse the slats should it get chipped or I get IND to paint them.

I tried to take it apart but too much work. So simple way was to go to my friend's shop and he make me the decal and stick it on. Took him like less than 5 minute where as took me about 10 minutes. Just need to have a sharp blade to cut it clean.

Easy mod (with a little patience) and great subtle look. Took me 25 minutes but that's because I screwed up my first cut and didn't use a very sharp blade. Good thing there is enough material for 3 M5s easy. Use an exacto with a new blade or better yet a cutting board. Goes on relatively easy and comes off very easy (I have commitment issues lol).
So far I've gotten all positive comments and I'm happy with the results. Best $8 dollar cosmetic mod. |

Mine arrived the other day but I haven't played with them yet. I will slice them up this weekend
Can anyone tell me what measurement / width you all are cutting them at so that the strips are perfect to fit over the edge of the vein? I can measure but I didn't know if it looks best with it being a hair wider to wrap around the edge? I have to be really clean because I have laser interceptors sharing the last vein so I don't want to get messy here Thx all! |

It looks great on that color koxal. I had them on my Sakhir for about a week and removed them . . . just didn't look right with that color. I think it works best on white, black and gray cars.
