You can barely see some lines below the word "sport". I asked them not to grind to deep and I do not mind a little bit of imperfection. Last edited by M5LA; 07-19-2014 at 06:50 PM.. Reason: added a picture |

It's a bit of a drive, but Flemington is great. I've got a good relationship with my CA and the Sales Manager. The service department has been very good so far as well. Actually, my car is there now, I dropped it off this evening. I've got the front wheel bearing clicking thats been discussed on the board. They're replacing the bearings Monday. I've heard good things about JMK as well. A friend of mine is the sales manager at Intercar Mercedes in Newton and knows some of the management at JMK.

rim repair
Quote:
I was in the same boat as you. I got the car, checked if everything was without any blemishes , FIRST ride that I took, and I chipped the front right , little bit more than you. I was pissssed beyond. Wanted to buy a new rim just because of that. Now I have 3500 kms on my car and I sort of got used to that . I personally will leave my " scar " as a proof how dumb I am . and will eventually replace the rim but for now I will leave it as is. why replace, simple , I hate imperfection and there is no way I'm going to get this refinished to my satisfaction, so I will bite the bullet and spend the dough for a new rim. That is my 5 cents. Cheers |

I paid about 160 bucks in Vancouver, BC to have a front left wheel refinished to perfection with a baked on finish. (1/2 circumference of wheel)

I would honestly just leave it alone. This stuff just happens, and it'll likely happen again.
