With a heavy heart I depart from the Porsche Family-Part II- Ferrari Time!!!

Well as fast and as good looking as the Porsche 991 TT-S was/is. I wanted something a bit more exotic. I wasn't driving the Pcar all too much so I sold it and got this... Brilliant!!!!!!!

2014 Ferrari 458 Italia
Novitec Wheels (21x9 fronts and 22x12 with 335x25x22 rears)
Novitec Suspension
Novitec front lip
Novitec rear deck lip
Capristo Exhaust (no cats- fucking loud!!)
and a few other goodies which makes it basically plug and play...

Yes its not as fast as the MP4-12C or others but its what I want and have always desired. 4 years later this car is still turning eyes and actually holds its value (good and bad thing).

Congratulations on the stunner - perfect wheel and stance setup btw. Gotta hear that Ferrari exhaust with no cats, crazy....

I'm amazed at the Ferrari's value retention. F430's are more expensive than MP4-12C's lol...

Well here's hoping you do drive it more. I am having a hard time not driving my Pcar, I prefer it to the M5 for sure. I guess not having an exotic to compare to I can't speak to what my preference would be. I do like the raw power and speed of the Porsche so I suspect I wouldn't be so impressed by the Ferrari but again, that is spoken from not having driven one.

Anway, I am glad you are enjoying it for the time being. Life is short and you never know what it will serve up to you next.

Ill come back to Porsche; I have had 4 Turbos and a C4S so what's not to like from my end- just the opportunity to own my first Italian super car. My 991 TT-S was tuned and had exhaust, it is faster than almost every car out there. But its not like this car- even after one day I can tell you that the smile I get pulling that thing to 140 plus mph with the Capristo exhaust roaaaaring F1 tunes is enough. I don't mind losing from a dig to a TT-S, heck I owned one. IMHO the Ferrari is the true raw race car with a normally aspirated engine. You cant get more raw than that. Ill see Porsche soon enough but probably in the form a GT3 next. I loved the Turbo and it would be still be here if I didn't accidentally run into this car.

I would need another oil well to buy a Ferrari but even then, I am still having this two car garage anxiety with the M5 sleeping outside. It's one thing to put a 2013 M5 outside, altogether different to choose between a California T (what I would buy if I did a Ferrari) and 991 TTS having to sleep outside.

I am sure that car sounds great and runs great too, plus, it's a new experience for you as is the Pcar for me. That's the fun part of life, new and enjoyable experiences. You are definitely having one here. Enjoy it in good health and harmony

That's what years of preeminent brand heritage and low production will yield, and even though McLaren has come back with a vengeance, they have decades of performance and organizational successes ahead of them in order to capture the mystique and desirability of a Ferrari. The new CEO of Ferrari has pledged to make 10,000 units a year, up from 7,000 annually, and the Ferrari faithful are very concerned because they do not want the high value of their vehicles decreased.

By the way, I forgot to ask the most important question --- does it spit flames?

That car is basically Turbo fast, but with the raw sound of your R8. You never fail to amaze me sir. That is epic. I don't even want to know about the price of a 2014 Italia lol.

Vic, congrats. Gorgeous car. Run the bollocks off it, unlike most Ferrari owners I'm afraid.

Your wish is my command; already have run it very hard up and down the rpm's. Its a more expensive car than my others but it wont get treated any differently---- well maybe a little

I dont know why I never did to be honest, although I clearly wanted the 991 GT3 but with the engine issues I went to the 991 TT-S.
